Elante Mall Chandigarh, situated in the industrial area of phase 1, has always been a prime destination amongst youngsters of Chandigarh to spend their quality time on their weekends. Elante Mall was developed by Larsen & Toubro Group (originated in Mumbai) completed and inaugurated in 2013. In 2015, it was sold to a Mumbai-based Carnival Group at a price of US$ 274 million. That deal was one of the biggest deals in India in any real estate transaction.

In 2018, a subsidiary of US-based global investment firm “the Blackstone Group”, Nexus Malls purchased Elante Mall.

After the acquisition of Elante Mall, it has been known as Nexus Elante Mall Chandigarh.

Design and Architecture: Elante Mall has two Entrances for people to enter. It has three basement levels for parking, a ground level that is used is used to hold events, and three upper levels where the mostly retail area resides. This place has 40 escalators, 17 elevators, and 2 travelators as a support for the person with disabilities and veterans.
