Siswan Dam/Lake is located near New Chandigarh at Kurali and Dhanas road at a distance of 20 km from Chandigarh, in
village Siswan, Mohali. It is quite a famous place to spend your day or weekend with your friends or family. It
is known to be the best place to explore near Chandigarh and Mohali.

At Siswan lake, there is a Nature trail of 6.5 km where you can enjoy walking in between the greenery of the forest of Shivalik Hills. At this place, old fossils of nearly three million years of many endangered species were discovered. This area is known as a treasure trove of mammalian fossils. The fossils were found during the excavations of nearly 20 villages in the Mirzapur and Siswan areas. The government of Punjab is encouraging activities for the enhancement of Bio-diversity in this area.

This place is situated near the Punjab and Haryana border. It is a very beautiful and calm place to visit with your
family. It is a perfect picnic spot. Water is clean & green, and Boats are available for Boating. This place is also known as Siswan Community Reserve.
