Gurudwara Singh Shaheeda Sohana Mohali

Gurudwara Singh Shaheeda Sohana of Mohali was built in remembrance of the Sikhs that were martyred during the Anglo-Sikh wars in the mid-1800s.

The Gurudwara was constructed in the memory of martyr (Shaheed) Jathedar Baba Hanuman Singh Ji (age 90), the 7th Jathedar of Budha Dal (leader of Nihang Singhs) and the Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib and 500 other Sikhs.

The old Gurudwara was demolished and the new building was under construction which is now complete. The Gurudwara is famous for the kirtan samagams of Baba Ji Hansali Wale and Baba Ranjit Singh Ji Dhadrianwale.

Wooden shoes of the martyrs have been preserved inside the Gurudwara.

Gurudwara Singh Shaheeda Sohana was built under the direction and supervision of Baba Harbans Singh Ji Karseva Bangla Sahib Delhi. The Gurudwara Sahib Shaheedan has been constructed at the cremation place in remembrance of Baba Hanuman Singh Ji.
