Chhatbir Zoo Zirakpur

Chhatbir zoo is located in a calm and spacious forest in the Zirakpur region. The first proposal to establish a Zoological Park at Chhatbir was mooted in the year 1973. The State Government then decided to constitute committees at various levels so as to secure cooperation, assistance, expert advice, and provide coordination which was vital for the establishment of such an important project. A state-level advisory council headed by Shri M. M. The best place to visit is the Chhatbir zoo in Chandigarh. You can reach this spot by local transport, taxis, or your own vehicle. Many wild animals can be found in the area. There are many water and bird species.
