A Day in Pinjore Garden
Let’s read about our a day in Pinjore Garden. Pinjore Garden is situated at Chandigarh – Kalka Highway at a distance of almost 22 kilometers from Chandigarh. You can reach there by bus, auto or your own vehicle easily and without any hassle. If you wish to experience the style and standard of living of the Mughal period then it can give you a glance at that. It was made as a reference to the Shalimar Bagh pattern and has a traditional Mughal style building.
A glance of Beautiful Structure:
At Pinjore garden there is a wide space for parking allowed for visitors with proper convenience. At the Main entry of the Garden there sits the Model of an Engine which is of British Times. There is a big Wooden Doorway for entry and inside is a Minar where Beautiful patterns of Indo-Mughal style carving and workmanship are carved on the walls.
Crossing the doorway there welcomes you a beautiful view of the Garden. This garden has been laid in seven terraces. The first terrace consists of Shish Mahal, known as “The Palace of Glass “, and it is adjoined with Hawa Mahal. All along the path, there are beautiful fountains standing in canals that bifurcate the road for walking space which shows the unique interest of the Mughal kings in architectural style.
The canal adjoins the path to Rang Mahal, which is the most beautiful place in Pinjore Garden. From there you can watch the whole garden individually. There is a big fountain in front of Rang Mahal which is very photogenic and beautiful. This fountain attracts a lot of people around this place.
Ahead of this place comes Jal Mahal which is made in between a beautiful water pond. The Path from Rang Mahal to Jal Mahal is covered in exquisite greenery of Royal Palm trees and cypress trees. Under there are benches so that people can relax there in the shadow of trees. There is also a food court available for people.
Evening time View
In the evening the Scenery of the Pinjore garden looks more beautiful. At every place Shish Mahal, Hawa Mahal, Rang Mahal, and Jal Mahal, the whole place is decorated with colorful lights, which makes it more wonderful. The colorful lights enhance the beauty of the night in the Pinjore Garden.
The Pinjore Garden of Pimjore is also used as a spot for shooting Bollywood movies and songs. This place is also famous among people for Pre-wedding Photoshoots.
This is quite a touristy place in the winters because in summers it is quite difficult to walk around. Considering everything, it is a great place to spend your day with your families and friends. The best season to visit this place is from September to March.
